ABOUT US:

Sexual violence does not discriminate! But, it sure does make people uncomfortable. So what can we do to make this uncomfortable issue comfortable enough to create change? Use sport. More precisely, use Movement To Inspire.

Movement to Inspire is a Swiss-based nonprofit organisation that was founded in 2018. It aims to make the world a safer place for women, men and children by using the restorative power of sport to peacefully end sexual violence.

The vision is underpinned by our current project, Footsteps To Inspire. It's led by Claire McFarlane, our founder and a rape survivor, who is running 16kms of beach in all 230 countries of the world, raising awareness and driving a message of hope for survivors of sexual violence. In each country, Claire connects with individuals of all ages, community and sporting groups, organisations, government services and survivors with the vision to inspire healing, identify solutions, educate and create lasting change.

The Footsteps To Inspire project already has a footprint in 57 countries.
